Baldrian, Pepe, Ferdinand and Schtan are vagabonds, tramps. They are always on the move and are nowhere at home - and they look like it too. They live from showing what they can do, and they can do a lot. Skippers, story-tellers, acrobats, drummers, singers… But it is more about what is in between - between Irrwisch and the public, between the lines. "The element of sustpense in a somersaoult is only partly in the somersault, the other part is the game of how to get there and and get away again". And thus acrobatics become poetry - a moving story about life on the streets and elsewhere.

Irrwisch :: Since 1992 Irrwisch is touring in Europe. The Austrian streettheatre group played, learned and honed its skills at the academy of street theatre - the street itself. Irrwisch entertains - it amuses and amazes, and Irrwisch moves you. The off-beat characters change your way of looking at things and have a special sence of humour. Spontaneity and improvisation characterise their art, their culture. They break taboos and push back borders; they alienate and fill you with enthusiasm in a rare and heart-warming way.
