Homeless McGoldrig once had splendid things. But he has lost it all - including his mind. He now dives into the wonderful wounds of his past through the romantic world of Rudolph Valentino, in this brave, bold, beautiful production. Silentis currently wowing audiences on its extensive Irish touring and internationally in Europe and the USA.

Fishamble: The New Play Company is an internationally acclaimed, multi-award winning company dedicated to new work for the theatre.  Recent productions presented on major Irish and international tours include Tiny Plays for Ireland by 25 writers, The Pride of Parnell Street by Sebastian Barry, and Forgotten also by Pat Kinevane.

Over the past 25 years, Fishamble: The New Play Company has produced 131 new plays, including 42 stand alone plays and 89 short plays as part of longer works.  These plays have been written by well known writers including Sebastian Barry, Maeve Binchy, Colum McCann, Dermot Bolger and Joseph O’Connor, but also completely unknown writers (at the time) whose first plays were produced by Fishamble, including Mark O’Rowe, Marina Carr, Gavin Kostick, Pat Kinevane, Sean McLoughlin, Stella Feehily and Michael West.
Fishamble is delighted that, in its 25th year, the National Library of Ireland will accept its archive to assist the increasing numbers of students and theatre enthusiasts interested in studying Fishamble’s body of work. 
Fishamble is committed to touring its work to audiences throughout Ireland and internationally.  Fishamble has brought its productions to audiences throughout Ireland as well as to England, Scotland, USA, Canada, Australia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, France, Germany, Iceland, Croatia and the Czech Republic.  During the past year alone, Fishamble has produced over 230 performances of new plays to audiences in 81 venues, touring from Ballymun to Ballydehob and from Edinburgh to L.A. 
Fishamble’s awards include Fringe First Awards (becoming the first Irish company to win two consecutive Fringe Firsts at Edinburgh, in 2011 and 2012), Herald Angel Awards, Argus Angel Awards, Irish Times Theatre Awards, and 1st Irish Awards.
