POLYPTYCH
The Ister Theatre’s Photo Exhibition
Aleksandar Milosavljević, Serbia

| Sunday, 26th June 2011 | 11.00 / CCNS |

Polyptych
The photographs for the exhibition Polyptych were created within the Polyptych project of the Ister Theatre. What was created within Polypthych was a polyptych of human body – the main tool of any dancer. Without a mask, without retouching, artists were presented from an existential point of view.
Photographer Aleksandar Milosavljević dissected a dancer’s body. In this case, focus was on some body parts which do not play the ‘lead role’. The photographs look directly at their object – letting the viewer know that dancers’ awareness of each part of their body makes them able to speak, charm, hypnotise.
‘This is me, my body consists of... I feel each and every part. Of the body.’
