The group AKHE was founded by Maksim Isaev, Pavel Semtchenko and Vadim Vasiliev in 1989. In term of styles and forms, the group announced itself as independent and started their activity in a performance, cinema and fineart’s fields. From that time the group consists from two to seven members, but the permanent body are – Maksim Isaev and Pavel Semtchenko.
From 1996. they count themselves more like theatre collective, created for the normal stage , in classical means. Since that time the group is permanent participant of theatre festivals in Russia and abroad. The members of the group take part in different theatre projects with other groups and theatres.
Postindustrial cabaret “Plug-n-Play” is very radical and hooligan’s theatre piece, the atmosphere of this show doesn’t remind theatre at all. Spectators coming to this event are free to find their place and duty; sit next to the bar counter and through sometimes tomatoes and garlic to the actors or dance on the small area next to the stage. improvisation by three participants in front of the audience by DJ, performer and painter.
So natural and alive actors in each moment […]Plug-n-Play 2 is the story strictly dedicated to the naughty kid who lives in each adult and who shout with exaltation: Ehh! I want to do the same!
