#Reteteatro41 is born from the desire and the need to build one’s own professional future starting from Basilicata region and aims to create a system that is able to recognize, support and enhance one’s work. The realities that make up # Reteteatro41 are groups of people who work daily in the theater environment, not only imagining, creating, performing the shows as directors, actors, technicians, but founding the basis of a theatrical culture.

“Humana vergogna” is a performance investigating the shame topic, both individual and collective, through a drama construction the body turns into telling.“Humana vergogna” leads the audience into a playful experience. It is a study between collective and intimate shame, social and familial too. Silvia Gribaudi e Matteo Maffesanti with ironic language linking dancing and theatre, developed this play in a creative process involving communities (prisoners too) they worked in. The research method of authors is constantly connected to the territory hosting them. During the show, spectator can enjoy creative ideas that focuses on question: When is right or not to be ashamed of anything?

THE SHAME OF THE BODY
THE SHAME OF OTHERS
THE SHAME OF FAMILY
THE SHAME OF FAILURE
THE SHAME OF SEX
THE SHAME OF THE DIFFERENT
THE SHAME OF …

Humana vergogna is the strong flow that draws us from what we are not, from what we do not want to be.
Marco Petroni, Nuovo Quotidiano di Puglia

We feel on the skin the shame of cumbersome bodies, of sapphic kisses, of degrading origins, of demeaning stories; the performers pierce you with their shames and enter in your shames.
